More sound, more colour
The Streaming Labium was developed by Kunath Instrumentenbau (in collaboration with Adriana Breukink) for the Eagle recorders.
The streaming labium protected shape gives recorders a greater dynamic range and the possibility to achieve significantly more timbres on the instrument.
Originally developed for the Eagle Classic, Kunath Instrumentenbau builds these labiums into all models on request.
For some instruments we already offer additional headjoints in small series.

The material
The streaming Labium is milled from a special brass alloy on high-precision processing machines and silver-plated to a high standard.
The shape
The uniquely slim and very long thin-formed labium edge gives the instrument a dynamic range previously unknown from recorders.
The shape features enjoy legal protection.
The upgrading
Kunath Instrumentenbau can in principle optimize any recorder model with a streaming labium. Prices and delivery times can be requested individually.
